Guernsey Web Design Company Purple Coffee Interactive Wins Web Design Award
Like many other web design companies and artists, at Purple Coffee Interactive we often utilise various forms of social media to showcase our web design work, get feedback from other talented designers and artists, as well as keep up to date on the latest design related information. This ensures both our customers in Guernsey and the South West of England are provided with informed graphic designers and developers to guide them through the web design process.
Well recently this feedback loop has really paid off. Purple Coffee recently received an “Honourable Mention” and second place in the interfaceSPACE Design Awards 2009 on renowned web designer’s portal deviantart.com. Our blog design titled “Textured Blog Layout” was selected by interfaceSPACE’s judges from DeviantArts user base of approximately 11 million members. This was no easy feat considering deviantart.com receives in the region of 100’000 user’s submissions daily!
The interfaceSPACE judge commented that:
“Textured Blog Layout by ~voodoosimon so very nearly won this award, in the poll this design actually came tie with the winner. I then had the hard decision of picking the winner and it was hard. This design features a lovely array of textures which have been well positioned around the canvas.”
The Guernsey web design industry is often perceived as a very inward looking market, but at Purple Coffee we believe that to provide our Guernsey customers with the best service possible, that looking outside the box is of paramount importance. This has been aptly demonstrated by our Guernsey based web designer Simon English.
